Our Classes

Ballet & Pointe
We offer Ballet classes for ages 3 & up beginning with Tiny Tots and Pre-Dance, moving into levels 1-7. To be eligible to enroll in Pre-Pointe a dancer must have trained in Ballet for a minimum of 4 years, must be entering 6th grade or higher and must have the permission of their Ballet Teacher,. These criteria must be met to be certain that the dancer is ready to begin pointe work.

Jazz & Hip Hop
Our Jazz and Hop Hop Classes are offered in Levels 1-7 beginning with age 3 for Hop Hop (Tot Hop) and Age 5 for Jazz. These classes are fun and full of energy teaching technique, body control and style.

Tap & Irish
Our Tap classes begin at age 6 with our Ballet /Tap 1 Combo Class. Dancers learn rhythm and body control, while working on learning and improving their tap Technique. Our Irish Dance classes begin at age 6 and have levels 1-4. Level 1 begins with soft shoe steps and technique progressing into hard shoe syncopation in the upper levels.

Modern Dance
Dancers may take Modern Dance class beginning at age 6 with in level 1. We prefer they also be enrolled in a ballet class, or have had ballet class in the past. We teach an eclectic blend of Modern Dance & Contemporary and expose our dancers to a variety of the most famous techniques as dancer progress upward through level 7.

Broadway Babies & Bound and Musical Theatre
If you love singing, dancing and acting (or anything Broadway) then these classes will be right up your alley! Our Broadway Babies class is a combination of learning lyrics, melodies, actions, and dance steps. The dancers learn how to be expressive and they are encouraged to express themselves with acting, song and dance in a safe fun environment. Broadway Bound is the next level and builds upon all of these elements while adding in Theatre and Stage terms and elements and games. Musical Theatre is a dance class for Teens focusing on performance, character and showmanship.

Acro
Acrobatic Dance is a combination of Acro and Dance elements characterized by a beautiful fusion of strength, tumbling and flexibility. Students in this class work on tumbling, strength and balance skills individually and with partners or groups. Our Acro classes are some of the most popular classes we offer. Students may begin at age 3, progressing from Tiny Tumble through level 1, and forward up to level 6 as they master skills.

Teen Jazz
Our Teen classes are a great way for older beginners to start learning! Often teen students are hesitant, not wanting to begin stuck with the younger students. With the Teen classes, we offer a more fast paced and mature environment for the dancers to learn the dance technique of Jazz with other student of similar ages and abilities.

Tiny Tots & Pre-Dance
For our youngest 3 year old dancers we recommend starting with Tiny Tots. In this class students will learn the basics of ballet with the addition of vital skills for a classroom setting, such as listening & following directions. Pre-Dance is a combination class consisting of Ballet and Tap for our 4 to 5 year old dancers. In this class, students will learn basic technique steps and positions spending approximately half the class working on Ballet and the other half Tap. To make sure students are having fun while learning, we also incorporate fun sing-alongs and props to aid with teaching!

Conditioning and Power Tumble
Calling all dancers, cheerleaders and athletes! These 2 classes will help you reach the next level. Our conditioning class aims to give a well rounded workout targeting cardio, specific strengths and flexibility needed for the performing arts. Our new Power Tumble Class is open to all ages and is goal focused. Always wanted to get your back handspring? We can help you achieve your tumbling goals! (Conditioning and Power Tumble classes are weekly goal based classes and do not participate in the end of the season recital.)

Adult Dance Workout
Adult Dance Workout is a new class for our more mature students. Dance Workout is all about getting a sweat on and having fun while moving your body. This class incorporates a warm-up wit h low impact cardio, a simple stretch out, and an easy, fun dance based combination to work on memory & keep your body moving! (Adult Dance Workout class is a weekly workout class and does not participate in the end of the season recital.)
